Are there any benefits available for veterans?
Unfortunately, the Veteran's Entitlement does not cover in-home care.
A veteran serving more than one or more days during, but not necessarily in the line of duty, does qualify for an entitlement in an Assisted Living, Adult Care Home or Nursing Home. As the political climate and our understanding of aging and in-home care capabilities changes, this policy may also change.
Discussing your needs with the Office of Veterans Affairs may offer other means of help and support.
